Swastik Sarees

Our shop is tucked inside the Millennium Textile Market on Ring Road. If you've ever spent time there, you know how loud and busy it gets. We are specifically at unit G-1352. It’s a tight space, but we pack it full of sarees from floor to ceiling. We spend most of our day unfolding and then refolding fabric for people who stop by. The lights in the market are really bright and there is always a background noise of folks haggling and carts rolling by. We’ve been in this same spot for a good while now. Dealing with different types of sarees is just what we do every day. Some days are quite slow, but mostly we are kept on our feet. We don't really bother with much advertising or online stuff. People walking by the shop just stop in when they see a color they like. The market life is definitely tough, but it's what we are used to. Sometimes the air conditioning in the main building doesn't work right, so it gets a bit warm. We have regulars who come from different towns just to see what new stock we got in. We try to keep the sarees organized, but by the afternoon, things usually get a bit messy. We just grab a quick lunch from the food stalls downstairs. It involves a lot of lifting heavy bundles of cloth. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just a practical space where we do our business. It’s a bit of a maze, but we like it here.
