Suraj Soni

My name is Suraj Soni and I’m based out of the Ring Road area in Surat. My place is in Navin Nagar on Tank Road, unit A/2049. If you know anything about Ring Road, you know it’s one of the most crowded and energetic places in the whole city. There is always someone moving something or a truck trying to get through the narrow lanes. My shop is right in the thick of it. It’s a small space, honestly, but we make use of every inch we have. I’ve been in this trade for a long time and I’ve seen this area change a lot over the years. We don’t have a big staff, just me and a couple of helpers who know the routine. We spend our days dealing with customers and sorting through stock. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy furniture or a waiting room. It’s a working shop. We usually start early in the morning before the heat gets too bad and the traffic becomes a total mess. Most of the people who come here are other traders or locals who’ve known me for a long time. It’s a very straightforward way of doing business. No big promises, just showing up and doing the work that needs to be done. If you find yourself on Tank Road, you can probably spot us by the activity out front. We’re usually there until the market shuts down for the night.
