Sundaram Sarees

We are located at unit No. 3028 in the New Sardar Traders Market. It’s right next to the Sardar Vegetable Market on Puna Kumbharia Road in Kumbharian. Being so close to the vegetable market means it’s always busy around here, especially in the early morning hours when the trucks are unloading. There’s a lot of dust and noise, but it’s a good place for a business like Sundaram Sarees. We have a lot of fabric and finished sarees stacked up in our space. It’s a lot of work keeping everything sorted by color and style, and sometimes the piles get a little out of hand when we are busy. We don’t have a fancy boutique feel; it’s more of a working warehouse and shop where we get things ready for customers. Most of the people who come to see us are looking for something specific, and we do our best to find it in the stacks. The market has its own pace, and we’ve learned to move with it over the years. We aren't big on talking ourselves up or using fancy words to describe what we do. We just know our sarees and we know the market. It’s a family-run kind of thing where everyone chips in. Whether it’s moving boxes or helping a customer, we just do what needs doing to keep the shop running. We keep it simple and focus on the work.
