Sonal Designer Saree

We are located in the Goverment Society in Bharthana. This is where Sonal Designer Saree is based. It is a quiet residential neighborhood, which is a bit different from the usual saree shops in the crowded markets. We use a portion of our house for the business. We have shelves full of sarees in different colors and materials. Some of them have a lot of hand-work on them, and others are just simple cotton or silk. We don’t have a big neon sign outside. Most people find us because a neighbor told them about us. We like the slow pace here in Bharthana. It allows us to spend more time showing each saree to the customers. We usually sit on the floor on a white sheet, which is the traditional way to show sarees. My wife and I handle everything ourselves. We don't have a computer to track the stock. We just know what we have on the shelves. Sometimes we have tea with the customers while they decide what to buy. It’s a very relaxed way of working. We’ve been doing this for several years now. We aren't looking to move to a big mall or anything. We like being part of this society and serving the people who live nearby. It feels more like a community than a business. It’s just how we prefer to run things here in the society.
