Sitaram Sarees

If you find yourself in the Millennium Textile Market on Ring Road, you might end up near our spot at L-4642. Sitaram Sarees is basically just a room filled with sarees of all sorts. Most days start with us unlocking the shutters and seeing what arrived the night before. It’s a lot of unfolding and folding back up, which takes more time than you’d think. The market is huge and it is easy to get lost in the different wings. We’ve been in this specific corner for a bit, and we know most of the guys in the neighboring shops. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries or customers to drop in. The air in the market always smells a bit like new dye and plastic packaging. It isn't a quiet place by any means. There’s always someone yelling about a delivery or a cart blocking the way. We try to keep our shelves organized, but by the afternoon, things usually look a bit messy. That's just how it goes when you’re busy. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a local shop doing what we know. The lights in here are bright so we can see the colors clearly, though sometimes they make the small space feel even warmer. We just stay busy with the stock and the bills and talking to whoever walks in. It’s a long day usually, but we are used to it.
