Sigma Classes

We’ve been running Sigma Classes here in Katargam for quite some time now. It’s not a big corporate setup or anything like that. Just a few rooms where local students come after their regular school hours to get some extra help with their studies. Most of the kids live nearby, so they just walk or cycle over in the evenings. The place gets pretty loud around 5 PM when the younger groups arrive. We have some wooden benches and a couple of whiteboards that have seen better days. Our focus is just on the daily lessons and making sure everyone finishes their homework properly. Some days are harder than others, especially when exams are coming up and everyone is stressed out. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that click a bit when they’re on high speed. It’s a practical environment. Parents often stop by the door to ask how their kids are doing while they’re out doing their grocery shopping. We try to keep things simple and straightforward. There isn’t a massive team here, just a couple of us who know the subjects and want to see the neighborhood kids do okay in their finals. Sometimes we stay late if a student is really struggling with a math problem. It’s just how things work here in this part of town. We’ve seen many batches come and go over the years, and it's nice when we see former students around the neighborhood. It keeps us going day after day.
