Siddhi Vinayak Sarees

Our shop is number 127 in the Vankar Textile Market. It is located right on Ring Road, which everyone knows is always packed with people and traffic. We deal with sarees here. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting bundles and showing the different fabrics to anyone who walks in. The market is huge, so it can be a bit confusing to find shop 127 at first, but once you’re in the Vankar section, it's not too bad. We have piles of sarees in different colors and materials everywhere. It’s not a big fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. It is just a practical market shop. We spend our days mostly folding and unfolding things. Being on Ring Road means there’s a lot of noise from outside, but we’re used to it. We have a few regulars who come by, and sometimes new people find us by wandering through the market. We don’t do any big advertising or anything like that. We just show up and run the shop. It’s a lot of standing and talking, and sometimes the days feel long when it’s hot outside. But we’ve been part of the Vankar Textile Market for a while now and we know the routine. It’s just what we do for work every day. We stay until the market shuts down in the evening and head home to do it again tomorrow.
