Shri Ram Sarees

You can find Shri Ram Sarees over at B 10, 1st Cross. We are in the 5th Block of Bel Layout, which is part of Katargam. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't from the area. The streets have names like 7th Main and 1st Cross, so you have to keep your eyes open. We have been selling sarees here for quite a while. Katargam is a place where people appreciate a good piece of cloth. Our shop is just a regular building. Nothing fancy. We have benches for people to sit on while they look at the different designs. Sometimes the whole family comes in and it gets a bit loud. I usually have to tell the kids to stop running around the stacks of fabric. We focus mostly on traditional styles because that's what the ladies in Bel Layout like. It’s a quiet neighborhood compared to the main market. We like the peace. Every morning I sweep the front and open the doors. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website. People just know we are here at B 10. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to chat about the weather or the local news. It feels more like a community spot than a big store. We just try to keep enough stock so nobody leaves disappointed. It’s a steady kind of life and we are okay with it.
