Shree Shubhlaxmi Dresses

You can find us at Shree Shubhlaxmi Dresses, located in shops 6 and 7 of the SMC Building. We are up on the 1st floor, right across from Swati Chambers on the Galemandi Main Road. This road is always busy, so there is plenty of activity right outside our windows. We mostly deal with dresses and ready-made garments. The space is split between the two shops, so we have a bit more room to move around than some of our neighbors. We spend a lot of time checking the stitching and making sure the sizes are right before we put anything out. It’s a lot of manual work, and our hands are usually busy with measuring tapes and hangers. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just a few of us here making sure the shop stays in order. Galemandi is a well-known spot for shopping, so we get a lot of people coming by to see what's new. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big order, but that’s part of the trade. The SMC Building is an older structure, so it has that lived-in feel. We know the security guards and the tea seller downstairs pretty well. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, without making a big fuss about it. It’s just a regular dress shop on a busy street where we work.
