Shree Laxmi Creation

Our shop, Shree Laxmi Creation, is up on the 3rd floor of the Kashi Market. It is located at No. 353. Being on the 3rd floor means it is a bit quieter than the ground level, but we still get plenty of visitors who know where to look for us on Ring Road. The market is usually bustling, and getting up the stairs or the lift can take a minute. We deal with textiles mostly, like most of the businesses around here. The space is filled with stacks of fabric and boxes that need sorting. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving things from one side of the room to the other. It is a basic workspace, focused on getting orders out and keeping track of what is coming in. The light from the windows is not always great, so we have the overheads on all day. Sometimes we have tea with the other shop owners on this floor when things slow down. It is a very standard way of doing things, no bells or whistles. We just focus on the work at hand and try to keep things organized enough so we can find what we need quickly. Ring Road is always busy outside, but up here in Kashi Market, we have our own little routine that keeps us going from Monday through Saturday. It is just how we run the place, nothing more and nothing less. We keep the shutters open and stay busy.
