Shree Ambika Fashion

Our place, Shree Ambika Fashion, is located on the first floor of the Radha Krishna Textile Market. We have a few units from B-2082 to 2085, so it’s a fairly long space. Being on the first floor is nice because we don't have to wait for the lift as much as the people on the higher floors. Ring Road is right outside, so the noise of horns and traffic is just something we live with now. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just walls of clothes and a couple of tables for packing. We aren't decorators, so the place looks like a working shop, not a gallery. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving boxes and showing samples to people who drop in. It gets pretty busy around festival times, and then we are all a bit stressed. But usually, it’s a steady pace. We have a small staff and we all do a bit of everything, from cleaning to accounting. There’s no "boss" who stays in a private office; we are all out there on the floor. The tea here in the market is actually pretty good, which helps on the long afternoons. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure people get what they asked for. It’s a plain and simple business, and we like it that way.
