Our shop is located at number 570 inside the Padmavati Textile Market. If you know the Ring Road area, you know how hectic it gets around here. We are right across from the New Textile Market, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving rolls of fabric around. Shradha Saburi Fashion is just one of many units in this big building. We spend most of our mornings unpacking deliveries and checking the quality of what we get. It’s a lot of work and our hands usually end up dusty by noon. The market is a maze, and sometimes even we get a bit confused with all the different turns. We’ve been here for some time now, watching the shops around us change. We aren't doing anything fancy. It's just a regular workplace where we sell our clothes. The tea man comes around twice a day, which is the highlight for most of us. Sometimes the elevator in the market breaks, so we have to carry bags up the stairs. It keeps us moving, I guess. We aren't a big corporation or a shiny showroom. It's just a practical space filled with racks and counters. People come here because they know the Ring Road is where the textiles are. We stay busy with the local trade and keep things moving. It’s just how it is in this part of the city.
