We are based over at Angan Residency on Varachha Road. It is a busy area and the traffic out front never seems to stop. Working for Shivnath Rai Harnarain India Ltd means there is always something to keep us occupied. We are not tucked away in some high-rise; we are right here where everyone else is. The office is not anything special to look at, just a place with some chairs, desks, and a lot of documents. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and checking on shipments. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It is a very human way of doing business. We know the guys at the tea stall around the corner better than we know our own neighbors sometimes. Most of us have been working here for years, so we have a rhythm to how we do things. We do not use fancy words to describe what we do. It is just work. We get here in the morning, do what needs to be done, and head home when the sun goes down. The building is okay, but it gets a bit warm in the summer months. We just open the windows and keep moving. It is an honest living and we are glad to be part of the local scene on Varachha Road. We handle the paperwork and let the day take its course.
