Dhanhar Exim Pvt Ltd is right here in the Bhagal Crockery Market. If you walk down the main lane where all the cups and plates are stacked up, you’ll find us. It’s a crowded place and there is always someone shouting about a delivery or a parked scooter blocking the way. We spend most of our time dealing with the export and import side of things. There are boxes piled up almost to the ceiling in our back room. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially on Mondays when the new shipments arrive. We don't have a fancy reception area. Just a couple of desks and a computer that’s a bit slow. We’ve been in this market for a good bit of time now. You get used to the noise and the dust. The tea man knows exactly how much sugar we like in our morning cups. We handle all the paperwork for the goods coming in and going out of the country. It’s mostly just checking lists and making sure the numbers are right. Sometimes the labels get mixed up and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. It is hard work and the fans don't always keep the heat away. We are just regular people trying to get the jobs done. Most days we are here until late, just making sure the trucks are loaded and ready for the morning. We close the shutters when the market starts to quiet down, and then we go home to do it all again.
