Sai Ram Agri Clinic

Our office for Sai Ram Agri Clinic is up on the 12th floor of the B wing, specifically B 1207/08. We are in the Parvat area, right near the Income Tax building. It’s a bit different being an agri clinic in a high-rise building instead of on a farm. You have to wait for the elevator every morning, and sometimes it takes a while because the building is so full of people. From our windows, we can see a lot of the city rooftops and the traffic down below. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our desks. We have a lot of folders stacked up on the floor because we ran out of cabinet space a year ago. We spend our time talking to people about their land and how to make it better. Farmers come up here to sit and talk about their business plans. It feels a bit formal compared to being out in the field, but we try to keep it relaxed. We usually have a pot of tea going in the corner. Sometimes the tax people from the nearby offices come by just to say hello. It’s a busy spot but we manage to stay focused on the agricultural side of things. We don't have any fancy decorations, just some maps and a few calendars from local suppliers. It’s a solid place to work and we’ve gotten used to the view from the 12th floor. It’s our little corner in Parvat.
