You can find us up on the fourth floor of the Avadh Building. We actually take up quite a few rooms there, from 401 to 405 and then 408 and 409 too. It’s located in Katargam, which everyone knows is the heart of the diamond trade here in Surat. Being in Gujarat, we are right in the middle of all the bustle. The building itself is usually pretty busy with people coming and going all the time. Our office isn't one of those super modern places you see in magazines. It’s just a practical space where we have our desks and equipment set up. We’ve been here for some time now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the fourth floor. There are quite a few of us working here at Shivay Diamonds Llp. We mostly just keep our heads down and focus on the diamonds. The light in these rooms is pretty good, which helps with the work we do. Katargam can be a bit crowded, especially during peak hours, but that’s just life in Surat. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising or big events. We just have our regular clients and the work that comes in through the door. It’s a straightforward business. We show up in the morning, do what needs to be done, and that’s about it. It’s a decent place to work and we know our neighbors in the building well.
