Shivam Industries

Our place is over at Plot No. 429 in the Rishon Plaza, which is right along Varachha Road. Most people find us by looking for the HDFC Bank nearby, since that’s a pretty big landmark in this part of town. We’re Shivam Industries, and we spend most of our time here working on various manufacturing tasks. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of trucks and the smell of grease in the air. We have a few machines running most of the day, making parts and whatever else our customers have ordered. It gets pretty loud inside the plaza, especially when everyone is busy at the same time. I’ve been working in Shartana for several years now, and I’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go, but we’ve managed to stay put by just doing the work that’s in front of us. We aren't a huge factory with thousands of workers, just a group of people who know how to handle the machinery. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend half a day fixing a lathe instead of producing parts, which is frustrating but it's part of the job. We keep a small office space for when we need to do the billing, but most of the time you’ll find us out on the floor where the real work happens. It’s honest labor and it keeps us grounded.
