We are based at No. 3/2919 - 8 in Mahatma Wadi, which is in the Salabatpura area. A good landmark for finding us is that we are right opposite Madhi Ni Khamni. That is where everyone goes for their snacks, so we get a lot of people passing by our door. Mahatma Wadi is an old part of the city, and the streets are quite narrow. We have been operating from this spot for a long time. The building is older, and you can tell by the way the doors creak, but it is home to us. We handle a variety of fashion items here, and the rooms are usually filled with fabric samples and half-finished orders. It is not a fancy boutique with a glass front. It is a working space where we spend our hours cutting, measuring, and packing. The noise from the street outside is just part of our day, from the rickshaws to the food vendors. We don't really use much technology beyond what is necessary to keep the books. Most of our work is done by hand or with simple tools. We know the people living around us, and it feels like a real neighborhood. We keep our hours pretty steady, starting early and closing up once the sun goes down and the street gets a bit quieter. It is a simple life and we are happy with it.
