Shiv Sarees

If you go to Raghukul Textile Market on Ring Road and take Lift Number 5, you will find Shiv Sarees at E-2639-2654. It’s a big market, one of the biggest around here, and it’s always buzzing with activity. We have a fair amount of space compared to some of the other stalls, which lets us show off more of the sarees. We have been here for quite a while now. The market is a maze of corridors, but once you find us, it's a bit quieter. We don't use any high-tech systems. We write everything down in our ledgers and keep track of the stock by hand. It works for us. Most of our day is spent talking to traders and people looking for sarees for their shops or for big family events. The tea man comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a small break. We don't have a lot of marketing to speak of. We just show what we have in stock and hope it’s what the customer needs. It is hard work being in the market every day from morning until late at night, but we like the energy of the place. We’ve seen many shops come and go, but we just keep doing our thing. It’s a reliable business and we're glad to be here. The market security is decent, and we know the other shopkeepers well.
