Shakambari Fashion

Our place, Shakambari Fashion, is located at 510 Canal Road over in the Karve Nagar area. It sits right near the Ring Road so the traffic is something we deal with every single day. The sound of horns and bikes is just part of the background noise for us now. We open up early because that is when the air is still a bit cool. Being on Canal Road means we see a lot of people passing through on their way to work. Our shop isn't very large but we make the most of the space we have. There is a small corner where we keep the kettle for making coffee when we get a break. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we are always too busy with the clothes to get around to it. We spend a lot of time checking the shipments that come in. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lane near Karve Nagar and we have to go out and help them navigate. It is just a normal daily routine for everyone working here. We have some regular folks who stop by just to say hello or check what arrived recently. The afternoon sun hits the front window pretty hard so we usually keep the blinds halfway down. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to keep things moving along without too much fuss.
