Saree Sansar

We've been at the Millennium Textile Market on Ring Road for a while now. Specifically at N-2736-37. It’s a busy spot. Dealing with sarees here is basically what we do every single day. The shop isn't fancy, just shelves full of stock. Saree Sansar is the name on the door. People come in from the Ring Road, sometimes it’s crowded, sometimes it's quiet. We spend most of our time unpacking new arrivals or helping someone find a specific color they saw somewhere else. It gets dusty sometimes with all the fabric around. We don't really do much online stuff, just stay here at the market. Sometimes the air conditioning works great, sometimes it's just okay. We've seen the market change over the years. New shops open up next door, but we just keep doing our thing in these units. It’s a lot of folding and unfolding. If you walk through the Millennium building, you'll eventually find us. We don't have a big sign outside the building, but once you're on the right floor near the N section, it's easy. We mostly talk to other traders or regular folks who know the area. It’s a living. We try to keep things organized but with so many sarees, it’s a constant job. That’s pretty much how things go here at Saree Sansar. Nothing too complicated about it. We just show up, open the gate, and handle the sarees.
