Sangam Farmers Private Limited is just a small group of us located at SN 106 in Umarana. We’ve been around these parts for a long time, mostly just working our own patches of land until we decided to put our names together on some paperwork. It makes things a bit easier when we need to buy supplies or look for buyers for what we harvest. Umarana is a quiet place and we like it that way. We don't have a big staff or a fancy website. Usually, you’ll find one or two of us at the site handling the day-to-day things while the rest are out in the fields. It’s practical work. We deal with the weather and the dirt every day, so we don't have time for fancy talk. If a tractor breaks down or the rain doesn't come, that's what we talk about. We started this because we saw that trying to do everything alone was getting harder as the years went by. Now we share the load. It's not always perfect, and sometimes we argue about the best way to do things, but that’s just how it goes when you have a bunch of headstrong farmers in one room. We’re just local people trying to keep our heritage alive while making a bit of a living from the earth beneath our feet in this corner of the world. It is mostly just about staying afloat and working the land.
