Samarpan Fashion

Katargam is a busy part of Surat, and being in the New GIDC area means we are surrounded by a lot of manufacturing and small factories. Our place is on the ground floor, unit 703, and it is right near Gajera School. You can always hear the school bell ringing or the kids shouting during their break times. We deal with fashion items, mostly just handling the daily flow of goods coming in from the local workshops. It is an industrial vibe here, not a fancy shopping mall. The walls are a plain color and we have big metal shutters that we roll up every morning. It gets quite dusty because of all the trucks and bikes moving through the GIDC roads. We do not have any professional decorators or anything like that. We just put the stock where it fits and try to keep a path clear for people to walk. Some days are incredibly slow and we just sit around talking, and other days we do not even have time to eat lunch because there is so much to move. The heat in Surat can be brutal in the summer, so we have a few big fans blowing all the time. It is just a normal business in a busy industrial neighborhood. We have been at this for a while and we just do our work without making a big deal out of it.
