Saloni Saree

If you have ever been down Ring Road, you know how hectic the New T. T. Market gets. Our little spot at F-112 is right in the middle of all that chaos. We spend a lot of our time just shifting stock around to make sure there is enough space for people to stand. It is a busy life here. The morning starts with us pulling up the shutters and checking what needs to be sent out. We handle a lot of sarees, and some days it feels like we are just swimming in fabric. There isn't much room for a desk or anything fancy, so we just work on the floor mostly. The tea is usually cold by the time we get to drink it because someone always walks in asking for a specific color or print. It is loud outside with the horns and the loaders moving heavy bags on their shoulders, but you get used to it after a week or two. We do not really do much advertising or anything like that. People just find us because we have been here a while and they know what to expect. Some of the shelves are a bit crooked and the paint is peeling a little near the corner, but it doesn't bother anyone. We just want to get the work done and go home when the sun goes down. It is a simple way to earn a living.
