Saloni Saree

It is usually pretty crowded here on the first floor of the Millennium Textile Market. We have these two units, 3440 and 3441, and honestly, some days there is not much room to move between all the stacks of sarees. Ring Road is always a bit of a nightmare with the traffic, so getting things in and out takes a long time. We just spend most of our day opening bundles and showing people what came in that morning. The light in here isn't the best, but we manage fine. Most folks who come up here already know where we are. It is not like those fancy malls; it is a real market where people are shouting and moving carts full of cloth. Sometimes the tea guy comes around twice an hour, and other times you cannot find him at all. We just keep the fans going and try to stay organized, even when the boxes start piling up toward the ceiling. Dealing with all the different patterns and fabrics keeps us occupied from morning until we close up late. It gets dusty, and the noise from the hallway never really stops, but that is just how it is working in a place like this. We do not have much time for small talk when the big orders come through. It is just work, day in and day out, making sure everything is counted right and ready to go.
