Sakhi Fashions

We are up here on the first floor of the C block in Nanekar Wadi. It is right by the Alandi Phata Ring Road, so there is always some noise from the traffic outside. Sakhi Fashions started out just as a small idea but now we spend most of our days moving hangers and folding clothes. The shop is not huge, but we make it work. Most mornings start with dusting the shelves and making sure the light bulbs are all working. Sometimes the fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking sound but it keeps the air moving. We have lived around here for a long time, so we know the area well. It is a busy spot. People come in looking for something specific, and we try to find it in the stacks. Sometimes the delivery guys struggle to find the right door because the building layout is a bit confusing to outsiders. We just tell them to look for the sign near the stairs. It gets quite bright in the afternoons when the sun hits the front window. We usually have tea around four o’clock. It is just a normal place where we work and talk to the people who walk through the door. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It is just us, the clothes, and the daily routine of running a shop in this part of town. The ring road stays busy until late at night.
