We are located up on the third floor of the Sakar Building in room 302. Nanpura is one of the older parts of Surat, and Athugar Muhalla has a lot of character to it. The building itself is a bit on the older side, but it is sturdy and has been here a long time. We like being in this part of town because it feels very established. Our space is not huge at all. We have a couple of rooms where we have set up basic tables and chairs for everyone. It is usually quite quiet inside compared to the busy streets down below. We do not use much fancy technology. We mostly stick to chalkboards and the printed notes we put together ourselves on the old printer in the corner. Sometimes the power goes out for a little while, but we just open the windows and keep going. The breeze from the river is not too far away, which helps. Most of the students who come to see us live in the nearby lanes, so it is just a short walk for them. We know the neighbors and the guy who runs the tea stall downstairs. It is that kind of place. We don't have a big budget for advertising or anything like that. People just hear about us from their friends or cousins. We try to keep the place tidy, but with all the papers, it is always a bit of a mess.
