Ritesh Sarees Emporium

Our place, Ritesh Sarees Emporium, is situated at M-11 on B B Road Cross, near O P Road in Bharthana. It is a decent spot, though parking can be a bit of a headache on weekends. We deal with sarees mostly. It is a family-run thing, so there is always someone around who knows where everything is stored. The shop has been in the same location for a bit, and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the street. Some days it is very quiet and we just sit and talk, other days it is a bit of a rush. We do not use any loud signs or anything. People just find us. We have heaps of different colors and patterns piled up on the counters. Folding them all back up at the end of the day is probably the hardest part of the job. My cousin usually helps out with the inventory while I handle the visitors. We are not trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a place that does what it says. We have lights that flicker a bit in the back room, but we will get around to fixing that eventually. It is just a normal shop life. We see a lot of families coming in together. It is nice to see familiar faces from the Bharthana area. We just keep the doors open and do our bit.
