Priyanshu Creation

Working at Priyanshu Creation means being right in the heart of the textile world at the Vankhar Textile Market. Our shops are No. 624-25 and they are mostly filled with rolls of fabric and different materials from floor to ceiling. The Ring Road is just outside and you can hear the constant rumbling of trucks carrying goods to all parts of the country. It is a very busy atmosphere and you have to move quickly if you don't want to get in the way of the laborers moving bales of cloth. We spend most of our time measuring out orders and packing things up for delivery. The light inside the market is all artificial, so you sometimes lose track of whether it is morning or afternoon until you step outside. It’s a lot of physical work and the dust from the fabrics gets everywhere, so we are always sneezing or brushing off our clothes. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept in the stacks. It is a bit of a maze inside Vankhar, but we’ve been here long enough to know all the shortcuts. We don't do much in the way of promotion because the market itself brings in enough people looking for textiles. It’s a simple, hardworking life in a very crowded part of the city.
