Riddhi Saree Centre

Our shop, Riddhi Saree Centre, is located at 1175748 in the Rustampura area. We are situated very close to the Hills Nursery School, so during certain times of the day, the whole street is full of parents and children. It makes the neighborhood feel very lively, though it can get a bit loud during the morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up hours. The shop itself is a modest space where we keep all our inventory. We have shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling because we need every inch of room we can get. Rustampura is a place where everyone kind of knows each other, so we see a lot of familiar faces passing by our front window. We don’t really do much in the way of decorating; the shop is mostly just functional with a few chairs and a long counter where we work. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in, so we are always wiping things down. We keep a small radio in the corner that plays mostly local news or music while we fold and organize the stock. It’s a slow and steady kind of life here. We open up at the same time every day and stay until the sun starts to go down. It's a honest way to spend the day and we like being near the school and the general hum of the local community. There is always a lot to do so the hours go by pretty fast for us.
