Ria Sarees

This branch of Ria Sarees is located at M-2708-09 in Nina Society, which is over on Paud Road near Ring Road. It’s a bit of a different vibe than the main market areas because it’s tucked into the society. We have a fair amount of space here, which is good because sarees take up a lot of room once you start unfolding them. We spend a lot of our time just organizing. If one pile falls over, it takes an hour to get it right again. The morning starts with a quick prayer and then we get to work. Nina Society is a familiar place for many around here. We have a few regular people who stop by just to see what came in on the latest truck. We don't do big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here. The floor is tile and it stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on Paud Road. Sometimes we sit on the floor to do the folding because it’s easier on the back. We have a small fan that wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving. It is just a straightforward business. We buy sarees, we store them, and we sell them. There is no mystery to it. We try to be helpful when someone is looking for something specific, but mostly we just let the work speak for itself. It’s a quiet but steady daily routine.
