Real Education Tutorial

Real Education Tutorial is based at number 311 on Bharthana 1st Main, over in the 2nd Stage area. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood, which helps when we have students sitting around the tables trying to focus on their books. We don't have those big air-conditioned classrooms like the expensive centers in the city. Instead, we have a few rooms with sturdy desks and chairs and plenty of whiteboards that are usually covered in notes by the end of the evening. It can get a bit warm when the rooms are full, but we have enough fans to keep the air moving. We started this place because we wanted a spot where students could come and actually get their work done without too many distractions. There’s always a pile of textbooks and old exam papers stacked up in the corner. Sometimes the markers run dry or we run out of tea, but we manage. We aren't big on fancy technology or shiny brochures. We mostly just sit down with the kids and go over the lessons until they understand it. The street outside is usually quiet enough, though you hear the occasional bike or car passing by. We stay open late most nights because that is when the students need the most help. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day. We just like teaching and seeing someone finally get a difficult concept right. That’s what we do here in Bharthana and we plan to stay for a while.
