We’re located on the 3rd floor of house number 6/2147 on Limbu Sheri. It’s in the Mahidharpura area of Surat. If you’ve been to Mahidharpura, you know it’s the heart of the diamond trade. The streets are narrow and always crowded with people on scooters and folks carrying small packets. We like being on the third floor because it’s a bit quieter up there away from the street noise. We spend our days working with diamonds. It’s what most people in this neighborhood do. The office isn't very large. We have our tables and the right lighting to see what we are doing. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs every day, but it keeps us fit. We have been here for a while and know most of the neighbors. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office or expensive furniture. It’s just a place to sit and do the work. We don't use big words to describe ourselves. We are just local people working in the same trade our families have been in for years. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it is. We focus on the stones and try to do a good job. If you’re in the area and find your way up the stairs, that is where we will be.
