My office is at Kashi Plaza, room 203. It's right at Majura Gate in Surat. I've been working from this same spot for a good while. It's a decent building, not too flashy but it gets the job done. I mostly handle accounting and tax work for people in the neighborhood. It's just me and a couple of helpers. We have some old wooden desks and shelves packed with folders. There is always a stack of papers waiting to be sorted. Majura Gate is a busy intersection, so there's a lot of noise from the street, but I don't mind it much anymore. People stop by to drop off their documents or just to ask a quick question about some new government rule. I don't have a big website or a fancy logo. I just focus on the work that's on my desk. We drink a lot of water and tea during the day. Sometimes we stay late when it's tax season, but usually, we head home when the sun goes down. It's a steady life. I know most of the shopkeepers around here. We help each other out when we can. It’s a plain office, but it's where we do our best to keep things straight for our clients. We try to keep things simple and clear for everyone who walks through the door. It’s just how we operate.
