We are located at Plot No. 323 in the GIDC area of Pandesara. It’s a pretty busy spot, right near the Himson Char Rasta. If you’ve ever been to this part of Surat, you know how crowded the roads can get with tempos and trucks. Our building is just a standard industrial unit, nothing special to look at from the outside. But inside, we’re always on the move. There’s usually a lot of dust in the air from the nearby units and the constant traffic, so we’re always cleaning off the desks and the equipment. It’s a working-class neighborhood. Everyone is here to get things done. We know the neighbors at Plot 322 and 324, and we sometimes borrow tools from each other if someone is in a bind. The heat in Pandesara can be really something in May, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze we can get. It’s a simple life here. We start when the sun comes up and usually head out late. We don’t have a lot of corporate rules; we just expect everyone to do their bit. Most of the people working here have been around for years. We’ve seen businesses come and go at this Char Rasta, but we’ve managed to stick around. It’s just about being there every day and handling whatever comes through the door. It is what it is, just a regular workplace.
