Manoj here. I’ve been at Choki Sheri on the main road for a good while now. It’s a busy spot in Surat. You probably know the area if you live nearby. The traffic is always moving past the shop door. Sometimes it’s loud, but you get used to it after a few years. My place isn't anything fancy. It’s just a regular spot where I do my work every day from morning until the evening. People walk in from the street, maybe they’re just passing by or they live in the buildings right behind us. I try to keep things simple. If someone needs something, I see what I can do. There’s a lot of history in these old streets of Surat. You see the same faces every morning when the tea stall opens up. We talk about the weather or how the road is getting more crowded. I don’t spend much time on the computer writing about myself. Usually, I'm just busy with whatever task is on the table. The shop address is 201067, right there on the main road. It’s easy to find if you’re looking for it. I’ve lived in this city my whole life and I don’t think I’d want to be anywhere else. It’s home. The walls could use a bit of paint maybe, but it works for me. Stop by if you’re around the Choki Sheri area. We’re usually here. I've seen the city change so much over the decades, but this little corner stays much the same.
