Rakesh Kanthariya

My office is located out in the Palsana Industrial Area. It’s technically at the post in Kadodra. My name is Rakesh Kanthariya and I spend most of my days right here. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of heavy machinery and trucks moving around. It’s a bit of a gritty area, but it’s where the work happens. My space is just a basic building suited for the environment. I don't need anything more than a solid desk and a phone. Most of the people I deal with are working in the factories nearby or are involved in the local trade. It’s a practical location for someone who needs to be near the action. The air can be a bit thick with the smell of industry, but you get used to it after a while. I’ve been here for a long time and I know most of the guys running the plants. We don’t really do formal meetings; it’s more about a quick talk while standing by a gate or in my small office. It’s a straightforward way to live. I usually head home once the shift changes and the traffic starts to pile up on the main road. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s honest and it keeps me busy every day. I like the routine of the industrial area.
