Harshad Ramanlal Modi

I’m Harshad Ramanlal Modi. My place is over on Ghod Dod Road, which is one of the more famous streets here in Surat. Specifically, I’m in the Swagat Complex on Bibijan Street. You have to come up to the first floor to find me, at 19/21. Being on the first floor is a bit quieter than being right on the street level, which I like. Ghod Dod Road can get very noisy with all the shops and people. I’ve been in this complex for a long time. The stairs are a bit steep, but it’s a good building. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy reception area. It’s just a place where I get my work done. People come by when they need to talk about business or whatever service I’m helping them with. I try to keep a regular schedule, but sometimes things take longer than expected. The office has everything I need. It’s not modern or minimalist. It’s just full of the things I’ve gathered over the years of working here. I know the other shop owners in Swagat Complex well. We all look out for each other. Surat has grown so much, but this little corner on the first floor feels the same as it always has. It’s just me doing my thing and trying to be useful to the people who walk through the door. I often take my lunch at the same time as the others nearby. It's a nice little community upstairs.
