Rajrani Creation

Our workshop is at 64-65 in the Navjeevan Ind. Co-op. Society. It’s right on UM Road, not far from the Sosyo Circle. This is an industrial area, so don’t expect anything pretty. It’s noisy, there are trucks moving around constantly, and the air always smells like machines and hard work. At Rajrani Creation, we have two units side by side where we do all our cutting and stitching. The ceiling is high and the fans are always spinning to keep the air moving, though it still gets hot in the afternoons. I usually spend my time walking between the two units, making sure the machines are running okay and the workers have what they need. We have big piles of fabric in one corner and finished pieces boxed up in the other. It’s a lot of manual work and we don't have time for a lot of fluff. The floor is concrete and often has threads and scraps of cloth scattered around. It’s just the nature of what we do here. Being near Sosyo Circle makes it easy for the trucks to find us, though the traffic on UM Road can be a nightmare during rush hour. I usually park my scooter right outside the door. We aren’t looking to impress anyone with a fancy office; we just focus on getting the orders out the door. It’s a busy, dusty, and loud place, but it’s where we get things done every single day.
