Radha Raman Saree

You can find us over at B-5009 in the Radha Krishna Logistic Park, which everyone just calls RKLP. It’s out in Saroli, right behind the Bharat Cancer Hospital. Being in a logistic park means there are always big trucks moving around and lots of dust in the air. Our unit is one of many in this big complex. We spend our time here dealing with sarees, mostly packing and sorting them out for transport. It’s a big space but it fills up fast with stock. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the bare walls and our work benches. It gets pretty loud with the forklifts outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We’ve been at this location for a bit now and it suits us because it’s easy for the transport guys to find. We don't do much retail here, it's mostly bulk stuff. Every day is pretty much the same routine. We show up, check what needs to go out, and start working through the pile. It’s steady work and it keeps us out of trouble. Sometimes we stay late if a truck is delayed or if there is a problem with the manifest. It’s just the way the business goes in Saroli. We are just a group of people trying to get the job done right without much fuss.
