My office is tucked away at C/4 in the Adajan Dn area. It’s a part of town that I’ve always liked because it feels a bit more like a neighborhood than a cold business district. I have been working here for a long time, and the locals have gotten used to seeing me around. The space is quite small, just enough for me to keep my documents and a couple of chairs for guests. I don’t have a big sign outside or anything that screams for attention. People usually find me through word of mouth or because they live nearby. My daily routine is very regular. I show up, open the windows to let some air in, and start going through my list of things to do. I handle everything myself, from answering the phone to filing all the paperwork. It keeps me busy, but I prefer it that way. There is a tree just outside my window that provides some shade during the hottest parts of the day. Sometimes I hear the kids playing in the street or the sounds of people going about their shopping. It’s a very human way to spend the workday. I don’t have any grand goals of expanding into a huge corporation. I just like doing my work well and helping out the people who come to see me. It’s a quiet life, but it’s a good one. I plan on staying at C/4 for many more years to come.
