You can find us at Shop No.310 in the Sai Trade Center. We are on Railwaystation Road, right near the Mayor Bungalow. Pro-Poor Development Producer Company Limited is our name. It sounds a bit formal, but we are not formal people. We work with producers who are trying to get their footing. Our shop is small and often quite messy with all the paperwork and people stopping by to chat. We don't have a corporate office with fancy carpets. It’s just a practical space near the station. We spend a lot of time on the phone or tracking where the goods are. It’s a lot of coordination between the rural areas and the town. We don't use marketing tricks or polished language. We just tell people how it is. Sometimes things are delayed, and sometimes the prices aren't what we hoped for. We just keep working through it. The location is handy because people can drop in when they are in town for other errands. We aren't a big company with a lot of money to spend on looks. We just focus on the logistics of helping the producers we represent. It's a daily grind, but it feels right to be doing it. We've been in this shop for a while now.
