Priyaa Pret Couture

Our shop is located at 401 Athwalines on the ground floor. We are right in the Arogya Nagar area, near Sargam. If you know where Royal Sales Electronics is, we are quite close to that. It’s a decent spot, though parking can be a bit of a gamble on the weekends. Inside, it’s mostly just us working on different outfits. We deal with couture, so there is always a lot of fabric lying around and sketches pinned to the walls. It’s a bit of a lived-in space. You might see some loose threads on the rug or a stack of fashion magazines that we haven’t tidied up in a week. We don’t really go for that high-end boutique look where everything is sterile. It’s a working tailor shop at heart. Most days, it’s just the sound of the sewing machines and us chatting with people who stop by for measurements or to see how their clothes are coming along. We’ve been here in this part of town for a bit and people seem to know where to find us. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big event coming up for a customer. It’s a lot of sitting and focused stitching. We just try to make things that fit right and look okay. It’s a simple business and we like it that way.
