Praful Sarees

We have been here at 328 across from the Trade Centre for quite a while now. The Ring Road stays busy from morning until late, and we just keep the doors open for whoever stops in. It gets dusty with all the traffic outside, so there is always a lot of cleaning to do on the shelves. We mostly just handle sarees. Some days are packed with people looking through every single pile, and other days it is just us sitting here waiting for the afternoon rush. The space isn't huge, but we make it work by stacking things high. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific color if the lights aren't just right, but we know where everything is kept. Usually, people from the neighborhood come by because they know the spot. We don't really do anything fancy here. It's just a shop with a lot of fabric. My uncle used to say the location was good because everyone passes the Trade Centre eventually. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries to show up. Most of the time, the deliveries are late because of the jams on Ring Road. That is just how it goes in this part of town. We try to keep things simple and just show what we have in stock at the moment. It isn't a big corporate thing, just a regular place where we sell what we have.
