Prafful Saree

If you are looking for us, Prafful Saree is located in the Administrative Building at ABG-124 in Old Bombay Umbara. It is a bit of a trek for some, but it is a well-known building in this part of town. We handle a lot of sarees here. The space is filled with stacks of fabric and different colors. It gets busy during the wedding seasons, but even on a normal Tuesday, there is usually something going on. Working in an administrative building like this means there is always a lot of activity around us. We see people coming and going for all sorts of reasons. Our spot is quite functional. We don't have big flashy displays in the window because we are more about the actual stock inside. A lot of people from Umbara know the place. We keep the counters clear so we can fold and show the sarees properly. Sometimes the lighting in the building is a bit dim, but we have our own lamps to show the real colors of the silk and cotton. It’s a job that takes a lot of standing and moving things around. We’ve been here at ABG-124 for quite some time now. Dealing with textiles is what we know. We don’t really do much else besides making sure the sarees are folded right and the customers find what they need for their events. It is just a routine day for us in Umbara.
