Prachi Suits Store

Our shop is N-3286, tucked away in the N block of the New Textile Market on the Ring Road. This market is a huge place with a lot of different sections, and finding our specific block can take a few minutes if you aren't used to the layout. We deal mostly in suit sets, and the shop is filled with bundles of unstitched material. It’s a very functional space, with metal racks and some plastic chairs for when people need to sit down. The floor is a bit scuffed from all the boxes being dragged across it, and we often have bits of thread or plastic wrap lying around during the busy hours. We aren't a high-end boutique with glass walls; we are just a regular market store where the business of clothing happens. The air in the market always smells a bit like new fabric and cardboard. During the peak season, the corridors outside are jammed with laborers carrying huge loads on their backs, and you have to be quick to stay out of their way. We spend our time checking stock, talking to wholesalers, and showing the different suit designs to anyone who walks in. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting the heavy bundles and organizing the shelves, but it’s what we do. When the market closes at night, we’re usually pretty tired, but we’ll be back again the next morning to do it all over.
