Pigeon Impex

Pigeon Impex is based in the Kabutarwala Compound over in Bharatiyawadi, just off A.K. Road. It’s an interesting spot with a lot of history. The compound has several different businesses, so there’s always something going on nearby. We deal with import and export, mostly handling the logistics of moving goods. Our office is a simple setup where we spend a lot of time on the computer or talking to people at the docks. A.K. Road is usually pretty busy, so getting in and out can take a minute. We’ve got a small team here. We don’t go in for any of that high-level business talk. We just focus on making sure the containers are booked and the papers are in order. Sometimes there are delays at the port which makes things stressful, but we just deal with it as it comes. The compound can be a bit dusty, but we don’t mind. We’ve got some good neighbors who help us out when we need an extra hand with something heavy. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t have any fancy mission statements hanging on the wall. We just want to do our jobs and go home to our families. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with samples and boxes everywhere, but that’s just how an impex office looks. We’re just regular people trying to make it work. Every month is different.
