Working out of the Rander Motor Market is always an experience. Our office is up on the seventh floor of the Bejanwala Complex, unit B/701. It is a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but from up there, you can see quite a bit of the area. We are right opposite the Zonal Office, which is always busy with people going in and out. The motor market downstairs is full of noise and the smell of grease and tires. Up in our office, it is a bit quieter, but the sounds of the street still reach us. We deal with the daily tasks of the motor business, keeping track of what’s happening in the market. It’s not a polished environment. There are papers everywhere and the furniture has seen better days. Patel Jalpa is just us doing our jobs in this part of Surat. Most of our visitors are people we’ve known for years. We usually share some snacks in the afternoon and talk about the news. The Bejanwala Complex has a lot of different businesses, so you meet all kinds of people in the hallway. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place where business gets done without any fuss. It can get quite hot on the seventh floor, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. We stay busy enough to keep the lights on and that is enough for us.
