My office is located at 10 Nanpura, which is just a short walk from Suda Bhavan. It’s a very old part of the city, and the building I am in has been there for a long time. I’ve occupied this space for many years now, and I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There used to be more open space, but now it’s crowded with new shops and buildings. My office is quite basic. I have a desk, a few chairs, and a lot of shelves for my papers. I don’t use much in the way of modern technology because I find that a pen and paper work just as well for what I do. I spend my day talking to people who come in and handling their requests. Being near Suda Bhavan means there are always people around, so I never feel isolated. I usually have a few cups of tea throughout the day, often shared with someone who has stopped by to discuss business. I don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy sign. Most of my work comes from people who know me or have heard about me from their friends. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, but it has served me well for a long time. I like the routine of coming here every morning and knowing exactly what needs to be done. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work and I enjoy it.
