Auto And Industrial Chemical Corporation is located at C- 1- B 105 in the G.I.D.C. zone. If you know G.I.D.C., you know it’s a big place full of all kinds of industries. We fit right in there. Our focus is on chemicals for cars and industrial use. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it’s necessary. The building we are in is a standard industrial unit. It’s mostly storage and a small area for us to sit and handle the orders. We spend most of the day surrounded by drums and containers. It can get quite warm in the summer, but we’re used to it by now. We aren't a big corporation with a board of directors; we’re just a group of people who understand chemicals. We don't use fancy jargon when we talk to our customers. We just tell them what the product does and how to use it safely. Being in the G.I.D.C. helps because we are close to other businesses that need what we have. We don't really do much in the way of promotion. Most of our work comes from long-standing relationships with other shops in the area. We just show up every morning, check the inventory, and get to work. It’s a plain, honest business. We take care of the chemicals and try to make sure everything is delivered on time. That’s how we’ve always done it at C- 1- B 105.
